Coding in Minecraft is a computer science (“CS”) credential program with supporting curriculum, delivered through Minecraft Education, by Prodigy Learning. The program engages young and diverse learners (ages 9 to 18) through game-based learning in an immersive CS and coding curriculum and rewards their learning with credentials.

Students learn coding and CS in a safe and open digital environment in a Minecraft Education world where they complete learning activities either individually or collaboratively. The learning is student-led, while being educator facilitated and students can complete learning activities either individually or collaboratively before undertaking assessments to prove their skills.
